The departure date field is required on the checkout page, but if you don't know your exact dates yet, it's perfectly fine to submit a request with approximate travel dates. This date can be adjusted at any point during planning by contacting support@viahero.com or notifying your Hero so they can make necessary changes to the planning timeline.
